Pratik is an investment director at Volvo Cars Tech Fund leading the North America investing for Volvo Cars in the mobility space and helping investee companies with go-to-market strategies, partnerships, fundraising and hiring non-tech talent.
Prior to Volvo, he was investing in startups focused on ML/AI applications for various industries including fintech and insurtech and others. He raised from reputed family offices and built the fund for 4.5 years before joining Volvo. Prior to that, he was an investment banker at UBS, Lazard and Merrill Lynch for 10 years and worked on more than 100 M&A transactions and took 10 companies public.
He graduated from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2012, he is a Chartered Accountant (CPA) from India and completed his Bachelors in Commerce from Mumbai University.
