Mark Perutz is a Partner at DBL Partners, a ‘Double Bottom Line’ venture capital firm. DBL makes venture capital investments in companies with the dual goal of financial return as well as positive social and environmental impact in the regions those companies operate in. Mark joined DBL in 2003 to help launch its first fund and has continued to serve on its second and third funds.
Mark is on the board of RallyPoint and was formerly on the board of Revolution Foods, and also works or has worked closely with: Advanced Microgrid Solutions, Off-Grid Electric, Primus Power, Farmer’s Business Network, Ogin, Labcyte, Solaria, Bentek, NEXTracker (acquired by Flextronics), SolarCity (SCTY), Tesla Motors (TSLA), eMeter (acquired by Siemens), PowerLight (acquired by SunPower), and CareDx (CDNA). Previously, Mark was an equity research analyst covering the Internet infrastructure sector at Robertson Stephens, and has held roles in business development at Interwoven; market and technology research at The Tower Group; and IT systems building at Accenture.
Mark received a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and a MBA from MIT-Sloan.
