Krisztina Holly (AKA ‘Z’) is an MIT-trained engineer and serial tech entrepreneur who has been scouting, advising and investing in early-stage deep tech innovators for more than two decades. She’s currently a Venture Partner with Good Growth Capital. Z is best known as curator of the first-ever TEDx and Vice Provost for Innovation at USC. She founded pioneering centers at MIT and USC, investing more than $5M in university technologies that spun out into 39 venture-backed startups. Z has deep technical roots and extensive operating experience—Stylus Innovation, Direct Hit, and Jeeves Solutions—and has been advisor and board member to dozens of organizations globally, including the Obama Administration and World Economic Forum. In her spare time, you’ll find her skiing the backcountry, producing immersive experiences along the L.A. River, building airports in the desert, or hosting The Art of Manufacturing podcast. Z lives and adventures from Los Angeles.
