Katherine is a managing partner at McCune Capital, a seed stage VC fund focused on investing in new tech (AI/robotics) powering innovations in carbon emitting industries (energy, transportation, agriculture, industrial processes, land use, and waste management).
Prior to joining McCune, Katherine was an investor at a NY-based single family office, evaluating investment opportunities, structuring real estate transactions, and developing strategic partnerships.
She had a long career in private equity and hedge fund management, multi-sector portfolio allocations, and structuring transactions. At Bank of America, she launched and ran private equity and hedge feeder funds for the $70B wealth management platform and built platform’s operational infrastructure and tech.
Katherine started her career at AIG fund of funds team in 2003, where she managed portfolio allocations and structured specialized client portfolios.
Katherine founded Bera, a private angel investor club.
Katherine holds a BA in Economics from Hunter College and an MBA from Columbia University, where he was an elected cluster career rep. She is a frequent speaker at family office and student group events on investments and “women in business” topics.
