Judy Li drives new investment activity at Energy Foundry, an early-stage cleantech venture fund in Chicago. She oversees Energy Foundry’s 750+ startups per year deal flow pipeline to diligence and fund the best opportunities. Additionally, she supports portfolio companies and holds advisory roles with top cleantech incubators and accelerators. Prior to Energy Foundry, Judy conducted over a hundred energy efficiency assessments and sold dozens of retrofitting projects for a local startup, Verde Sustainable Solutions (now Verde: Energy Efficiency Experts). Before moving to Chicago, Judy was a Princeton in Asia Fellow with the Natural Resources Defense Council in Beijing, where she worked with Chinese cities on sustainable urban development policy. Judy received her Bachelor of Science cum laude from University of California, Berkeley, with a double major in Environmental Science and Environmental Economics & Policy, and a minor in Energy Resources. She enjoys exploring, scuba diving and cycling.
