Gus Roman is a Venture Capital Fellow at Global Founders Capital, focusing on digital health and biotech, Seed and Series A opportunities, with a particular interest in virtual care, clinical trial innovation, increasing connectivity/transparency, and platform plays (biotech/consumer health).
Most recently, Gus has been a consultant for founders in the digital therapeutics and virtual trials/biomarkers space, looking to gain expertise from both sides of the table. Before graduate school, he worked in life sciences consulting in New York, focusing on business development and market access. Also, he did a strategy & consulting internship at Pfizer. During Yale, Gus has done biotech venture work for Elm Street Ventures and was the co-chair for the Yale Healthcare Conference.
He has a MBA/MPH from Yale University and a BSE in chemical & biomolecular engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
