Gurdane is a founder and Managing Partner of MBX Capital. Having been a caregiver to his family through multiple health crises, Gurdane is driven by a desire to make healthcare more equitable, affordable, and accessible for all. He serves, as a Director or Observer, on the Boards of MBX partner companies Contraline, CareRev, and Atlas Health.
Previously, Gurdane was the COO of FundRx, a leading healthcare investment marketplace, where he built the firm’s investment technology and pioneered its expert-driven diligence system. He began his career working with private equity and technology clients at Bain & Company and in public finance at Morgan Stanley. Gurdane is an instructor on healthcare finance at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, and lectures in the Healthcare Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
Gurdane holds degrees in Computer Science, Public Policy, and Economics from Duke University, where he awarded the Angier B. Duke Scholarship. He was a Lord Rothermere Scholar at the University of Oxford, and is a Kauffman Fellow.
