Ephraim Lindenbaum is a founder and Managing Director of Advance Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture investment fund investing in early-stage start-ups. Founded in 1999, Advance Ventures invests in: Sustainability (AgTech, CannaTech, FoodTech) Communications (IoT, Mobility & Security) and Information Technology (Vertical Focus: DigitalHealth & FinTech).
Mr. Lindenbaum currently serves as a board member, observer or board advisor to Acerro, Alpha Foods, Front Range Biosciences, MycoTechnology, PathogenDx and Willow Industries. His prior exits with include: Agnitia Networks (LeadingEdge), Bright Light Systems (Phoenix Lighting) , Corvigo (NASDAQ: TMWD), eSports (Ositech), iLoopMobile (Archer), Inertia Beverage Group (now WineDirect), Kite.io (Quixey), LandSonar (Triangle), MerchEngines (NASDAQ: DLX), Ooba Beverages (HealthyBrands), Parago (NASDAQ: HAWK), Smaato (Spearhead), SnapMD (Kinderhook).
Prior to co-founding Advance Ventures, Mr. Lindenbaum was the co-founder of interactive media pioneer Broadcast Production Group and served as CEO until its acquisition in 1999 by Parago (acquired by NASDAQ: HAWK), a leading global financial engagement management company. He is a lecturer at Stanford Business School, Santa Clara University, San Jose State University and has been featured in Forbes, Inc Magazine, VentureBeat, Wired, CNN FutureWatch and Silicon Valley Business Journal.
