Donna in a Managing Partner at Cross-Border Impact Ventures. She has significant experience in venture and private equity investing and corporate finance having worked for Crimson Capital, the Canadian Medical Discoveries Fund, Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, Canada Pension Plan, and several other institutional investors. Ms. Parr has served on 35 boards of private companies primarily on behalf of institutional investors, and is on two public boards: Constellation Software and Topicus.com. She also has operational experience as an Executive Director of CellAegis Devices which developed patented medical technology for reducing the impact of heart and stroke. Ms. Parr holds an MBA from York University and Masters and Honours degrees from the University of Toronto. CBIV invests in transformative health technology companies (digital health, diagnostics, devices, therapeutics) addressing the needs of women, children and/or adolescents. The fund invests primarily in Series B+ stage or commercializing companies in North America, Europe and Israel with low-cost, evidence-based solutions that are also applicable in lower and middle income countries.
