Cottonwood Technology Fund
David Blivin is Founder and Managing Director of Cottonwood Technology Funds, a founding and seed stage investor in IP based companies considered to have disruptive potential. Cottonwood focuses in the southwest US and northern Europe across industries including photonics, robotics, health sciences, energy and advanced materials.
Prior to Cottonwood Mr. Blivin founded and served as Managing Director of Southeast Interactive,the largest information technology-focused fund based in the Southeast at that time. Mr. Blivin has participated on numerous boards of directors including Skorpios, xF Technologies, Trilumina, Exagen (XGN), Respira, Bayotech,The Pantry (PTRY), Opensite (sold to Siebel), Accipiter (sold to CMGI), and Channelogics (sold to Scientific Atlanta).
He holds a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
