Chris Danzig is a partner at Interplay, a venture capital firm, startup foundry and incubator based in NYC. He has spent his career innovating in media and technology beginning at Walt Disney Imagineering R&D building technology for the Disney theme parks. He went on to co-founded a number of venture backed startups including Indaba Music (sold to Splice) Brickwork Software (sold to B8ta), OpenFan (sold to Goldman Sachs), and CameraTag. Prior to joining Interplay, Chris was part of AOL Ventures where he built AOL’s Venture Studio, QLabs. He is an alumnus of Columbia University where he graduated with a degree in Premedical Neuroscience and was awarded the University’s “Indelible Mark” award for his contributions as class president and founding of the university’s TV station. He now lives in Westchester NY, with his wife and two children.
