Bernhard is Principal at eQventure – an early-stage VC investing in technology and digital health start-ups. Run by entrepreneurs, eQventure provides close support to their portfolio companies and actively engages in their scale-up stage. The portfolio consists of more than 20 companies with numerous exits.
Before joining eQventure, Bernhard was a key part in building the portfolio of aws Gründerfonds where he managed more than 10 companies and executed more than 30 financing rounds and 5 exits. Previously to that, Bernhard has a background in investment banking working in Bahamas, Germany and Ireland.
He earned a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and is currently completing his Executive MBA at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
